AppearanceRodolphus has dark brown hair but depending on the light it can appear black, he is pale-skinned with cool grey-blue eyes, and he stands around 6’3, much taller than his younger brother.He usually wears suits and never wears anything brighter than a deep blood red. His favourite colour is black.He wears a ring, resembling the Lestrange family crest, which he wears on the ring finger of his right hand. The ring colour is black with the family crest being surrounded by green and silver gems. He wears a second ring on the little finger of his left hand, which is a concealed version of the blood pact that he and Rabastan made, much like his younger brother.He has a scar on his right hand from the blood pact as he used his right hand to create it, much similar to his younger brother's who has a scar on his left.
PersonalityRodolphus' personality can be quite dark and he is always seen as angry. The only thing that is shown to make him happy is his brother and smashing things to get his anger out.He is impulsive and rarely thinks things through but tries to keep an air of calm to himself. Closing himself off from most people. Only his brother can really get through to him when he gets lost in the rage.He has always been overwhelmed by pressure. To be a good heir, a good brother, to be strong and that pressure has created a lot of cracks.Rodolphus is classed as the ‘Yin’ side of Yin and Yang whereas his brother is ‘Yang’. They are stronger together, not apart and he is classed as the Physical manipulator of the two brothers.
Backstory
Rodolphus is the first born son and heir to Rosalina and Reinhard Lestrange and the older brother to Rabastan. He was born in Berlin, Germany on the 2nd of May 1952.He is multilingual, due to his mother being from France and his father being from Germany. He can speak French, German and English fluently but he prefers not to speak to people at all.From a very young age it was made clear that failure was never an option. Not when it came to grades, legacy, or his brother. Anything that happened to Rabastan was Rodolphus’ fault according to his mother. It didn’t help he was often left to care for him. It only made him more protective and made that pressure grow.At school, he didn’t have many friends, but he did form Alliances in the house of Slytherin. He spent a lot of his time studying in the library, particularly in the restricted section.When his brother was in school he distanced himself from Rabastan, focussing on becoming the best heir he could be but from the younger Lestrange brother's graduation, the protectiveness he felt came back full force. From then on they were always together, they became death eaters together, tortured together, suffered together, and eventually died together.
